Kindersley, Saskatchewan is a growing community with thriving industries in oil, gas, agriculture, and tourism. Located in West Central Saskatchewan on highways 7 and 21, Kindersley is not just another town to drive through, it is a community you will want to stop in and explore! Regardless of the season, Kindersley is a great spot for outdoor adventures and exploring nature. The Kindersley Community Walking Trail consists of 4.2km of paved trails surrounding the picturesque Motherwell Reservoir. For those wanting to spend their day outdoors, visit one of the these many additional local locations, including the Kindersley Regional Park and Golf Course , Rock Your World Orchard, Senses Unleashed Dog Park , Fat Cat’s Spray Pad , neighbourhood parks , baseball diamonds , track fields, and outdoor rinks. As the largest community in West Central Saskatchewan, Kindersley is considered a hub for recreation in the region. Join in the energy at a game featuring our Klippers , Red Lions , Royals, Crude Hitters , or West Central Wheat Kings , just to name a few.

For those interested in culture and heritage, make sure to visit the Kindersley and District Plains Museum , Garden Gallery , or take in a musical performance at one of our many concerts. Our museum features multiple display rooms and heritage buildings onsite. We are also a short distance from two must see heritage attractions: The Great Wall of Saskatchewan and The Great Sandhills.

Annual festivals offer fun for the whole family attracting talent and visitors from across the province. Local celebrations include Indoor Rodeo(May), Trade Show (June), Culture Days (September), and Goose Festival (September). Local specialities are available onsite during these exciting events.

Our Tourism Booth offers complimentary coffee and the latest editions of the Kindersley Clarion, The Bean and Kindersley Social, and our friendly Tourism Advisors will assist you in planning your time in Kindersley and surrounding region. Available resources available on site include Destination Kindersley books, Kindersley maps, brochures, local accommodations and a variety of restaurants information, and Kindersley souvenirs to take home. The Town of Kindersley operates a Tourism Centre within the lobby of the Kindersley & District Plains Museum from May to September. Staff is onsite to provide assistance for campgrounds, directions, maps and suggestions for services needed in town. 

The Tourism Centre offers both indoor and outdoor amenities including:

  • Restrooms (indoor during hours of operation)
  • Museum to tour through (indoor)
  • Large vehicle parking lot
  • Gazebo
  • Picnic tables
  • Benches
  • Gardens

A large selection of brochures and pamphlets are available on site and provide travellers with information for their travel destinations or locations along the way.
