Pothole filling and repair is conducted annually as soon as the weather is suitable. Temperatures should be consistently above freezing to ensure that the mix properly seals.

The lifespan of pothole fill depends heavily on the amount of traffic in an area and how well it adheres to the existing asphalt.
Potholes and smaller sections of damaged pavement are filled with a cold mix product that is ready to use and adheres to both asphalt and concrete.

Larger pothole issues, asphalt patching, and street patching are addressed through the Town of Kindersley’s annual infrastructure maintenance program, which is approved by Council and is completed in collaboration with Public Works employees and contractors.
