As a community, we are familiar with emergency events. Fortunately, the Town of Kindersley has an active Emergency Response Plan that identifies potential risks for our community and the actions needed to mitigate and response to such incidents if they occur. The Emergency Response Plan is modified on an ongoing basis to ensure the most up-to-date resources and agencies are actively involved in the implementation of the plan.

Become an Emergency Response Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to the success of many emergency responses. Emergency volunteering can include a range of services from offering security and assistance at evacuation areas to helping with heavy equipment. If you are interested in being a volunteer with Kindersley Emergency Measures Organization, please contact the Town of Kindersley at 306-463-2675.

Plan at Home

  1. Create a floor plan of your home that shows all possible exits from each room and outline where to meet and who to call if you are separated.

  2. An emergency kit contains necessities for everyday living and emergency safety supplies. Designate a family member to routinely check the emergency kit to ensure that items re replenished and not expired.
