Bylaw 08-18

Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Kindersley, pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, intends to consider Bylaw 08-18, A Bylaw to Amend Bylaw 04-14, known as the Zoning Bylaw of the Town of Kindersley.

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw 08-18 would amend the Zoning Bylaw 04-14 as follows:

     Section 1 – Interpretation is amended by deleting the Municipal facility definition and replacing it with the following:

  • Municipal Facility or Protective Services: land and/or structures including, but not limited to, land and/or structures used for the following purposes:
    • Office and/or meetingspace;
    • Protective Services, providing fire, emergency, RCMP and/or police services;
    • Storage of municipal equipment and/or supplies;and/or
    • Other institutionalpurposes.

 

     Section 6 – District Schedules, tables 6.1 – 6.16 are to be amended to include Protective Services within the list of principal use. 

REASON

The reason for the Bylaw Amendment is to ensure provisions related to Protective Services are clearly identified in the bylaw.

PUBLIC INSPECTION

The proposed Bylaw Amendment may be inspected by any interested person(s) at the Town Administration Office, 106 – 5thAvenue East,between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except on Statutory Holidays. Copies of this Notice and the Bylaw with First Reading will be available and may be obtained at the Town Administration Office for a fee of one dollar ($1.00).

PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 7:05 pm in the Council Chambers of the Town Administration Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing (or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing).

Bylaw 09-18

Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Kindersley, pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, intends to consider Bylaw 09-18, A Bylaw to Amend Bylaw 04-14, known as the Zoning Bylaw of the Town of Kindersley.

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw 09-18 would amend the Zoning Bylaw 04-14 by deleting the Land Use Map in Section 7 and replacing it with an updated Land Use Map with the amendment as shown below:

REASON

The reason for the Bylaw Amendment is to update the Land Use Map to include the rezoning of civic address 802-11thAvenue East (Lot 1, Block 109, Plan 1027165)
