CALL FOR MEMBERS
Kindersley Community Advisory Network
Heartland Health Region invites community members to consider application for the Kindersley Community Advisory Network. This invitation and proposal for development of a Community Advisory Network is a recommendation from the Kindersley Needs Assessment report.
Purpose:
To advise the board of the Heartland Regional Health Authority on a broad range of issues with respect to the provision of health services and the allocation of resources within the community.
Term:
The term will be for 2 years, with further discussion and review once the committee and terms of reference are established.
Composition of Network:
The goal is to achieve a broad representation from the community. An ideal composition will consist of a range in ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and community involvement and experience. This committee size will be no less than 5 and no more than 10 representatives.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate community needs to the Authority and provide advice on the relevance of programs and services
- Participate in and provide input to planning discussions
- Foster and contribute to open, supportive, and collaborative climate
