Each year, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education accepts requests for child care space development from organizations interested in developing a child care centre.  Child care spaces are allocated as government resources become available.  The Ministry of Education is encouraging organizations, including municipalities, interested in developing a child care centre to complete and submit a Community Needs Assessment form.  This form will support the ministry to understand the child care needs of communities, organization priorities for serving children and families, and readiness of organizations to move forward with space development.

If your organization is interested in developing child care spaces, please complete a Community Needs Assessment form and return to the Program Manager for your region by March 14, 2018. The community needs assessment form is available on the Ministry of Education’s website at: https://www.saskatchewan.ca/business/entrepreneurs-start-or-exit-a-business/start-a-business/managing-a-child-care-business/start-a-child-care-centre.
