The Town of Kindersley is recognizing Emergency Preparedness Week from May 6-12, 2018 in Kindersley.

Emergency Preparedness Week is a national initiative to raise community awareness about the need for individuals to take ownership in preparing for the possibility of an emergency, and to acknowledge that the safety of our community is a responsibility of each and every resident. Residents are encouraged to educate themselves on emergency preparedness, which includes ensuring your home has a fire escape plan and an emergency kit. For more information, visit https://kindersley.ca/ourcommunity/emergencyservices/emergencypreparedness and www.getprepared.ca.

The Town of Kindersley has an active Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) that includes all relevant emergency services and agencies within the region who work together to provide a coordinated response in the case of emergent and severe incidents impacting our community and surrounding municipalities.
