Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday September 24, 2018. The following resolutions were made regarding our new CAO, a home-based business request, servicing agreements, and fire prevention week.

 

Audrey Hebert was appointed as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in the Town of Kindersley. The position will be effective October 1st.

 

Council approved the Home-Based Application (HB#18-02) for a discretionary use at a local residence as long as terms and conditions are followed.

 

Mayor Rod Perkins and Chief Administrative Officer were directed by Council to enter into a servicing Agreement with Golfview Mobile Acres (1994) Ltd.

 

Council accepted as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $523, 550.46.

 

Mayor Rod Perkins declared September 24 to September 28 as Environmental Public Health Week in the Town of Kindersley. October 7 to 13, 2018 was declared as Fire Prevention Week throughout 
the community.

 

Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda including the following items: Correspondence for Acceptance and Filing (Kindersley Detachment RCMP Statistics- July and August 2018, Ministry of Government Relations- Certificate of Approval T528-18S) and Minutes from Committees Reporting to the CAO and Council (Eston Kindersley Water Administration Board- September 12, 2018).

 

The Council of the Town of Kindersley directed the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer to enter into an agreement with Marathon Properties Inc. to operate the existing work camp located in Brookhollow subdivision for a period of six months.
