PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT

To Amend Bylaw No. 04-14

Town of Kindersley Zoning Bylaw

(A Bylaw to regulate Zoning and Development)

Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Kindersley, pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, intends to consider Bylaw 02-17 to amend Bylaw No. 04-14, known as the Zoning Bylaw.

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw Amendment will add Oilfield supply and service establishment as a Discretionary Use in the RW – Railway Industrial District.

REASON

The reason for the Amendment is to provide for the development of a pipe yard storage center for off-loading and transporting oil equipments.

AFFECTED LAND

The affected lands are legally described as part of the SW¼ 4-29-23-W3M, NW¼ 3-29-23-W3M, SW¼ 10-29-23-W3M, and SE¼ 10-29-23-W3M that are designated as the RW – Railway Industrial District shown on the Zoning Map of the Town of Kindersley. The lands are immediately southwest of Railway Avenue.

PUBLIC INSPECTION

The proposed Bylaw Amendment may be inspected by any interested person(s) at the Town Administration Office, 106 – 5th Avenue East, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except on Statutory Holidays. Copies of this Notice and the Bylaw with First Reading will be available and may be obtained at the Town Administration Office for a fee of one dollar ($1.00).

PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 7:10 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Town Administration Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed Bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the Hearing (or delivered to the undersigned at the Municipal Office before the Hearing).
