Reposting from the Saskatchewan Health Authority

With so much information coming at a person about COVID-19, sometimes it is difficult to tell fact from fiction. Follow these tips to tackle the daily misinformation tsunami:
1. Know the source – even if your friends or family sent you the information, you should still find the original source before sharing.
2. Read beyond the headline – headlines can be misleading.
3. Research the author – are they real? Credible?
4. Review the facts.
5. Watch for the ‘us versus them’ narrative
6. Check the date – is the information being shared up to date?
7. Ask questions – talk to your healthcare provider if you have health questions.
8. Be careful when you see ‘I’m not a scientist, but…’
9. Use your judgment.
Please see the Saskatchewan Health Authority or the Government of Saskatchewan for credible and up to date information. If you have questions or concerns, please contact them or see their website.
