Mayor Rod Perkins proclaimed September 18 to 24, 2023 to be Rail Safety Week. CN has requested the Council of the Town of Kindersley to adopt a resolution in support of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness, save lives, and prevent injuries in communities including our municipality.
*UPDATE* the water advisory is over! *UPDATE* The water leak has been fixed, but the Precautionary Water Advisory is still on until two consecutive samples come back from the lab saying it is safe to drink. We expect that to be mid next week! We have a water leak located on the 100 block between 6th Avenue West and 7th Avenue West. Lots going on for the Terry Fox Walk this year! The Kindersley Community Terry Fox Run will occur on September 17th starting at 1:00pm at the Motherwell Beach & Recreation Area. Stop by between 12:30pm and 1:00pm to register in person.
