Another photo from the ice removal process. You may see the decals from the ice hanging up on the bleachers. The process for taking these out is simple but requires precision! The ice is shaved down as close to the logos and decals as possible. Hot water is poured on the ice around the decals to loosen it. The decal is taken by one end and lifted until it comes out of the ice. The decals dry off and are placed into storage for next season.
Spring is finally starting to come around and with that we want to say a huge T H A N K Y O U to those businesses that assisted us in snow removal efforts by abiding by our Snow Removal Bylaw 09-21. The CLOSED section of the Walking Trail at the Motherwell Reservoir has reopened!
